Ulduar Trash

General guidelines:

  • Watch your threat : Some packs are annoying, and may even need multiple taunts. If dps stays nuking these taunted mobs, they may go taunt-immune and go totally uncontrollable.
  • Don't risk stuff. Like aoe when there's a cc'ed mob 20y away. It's safe at that moment, but that mob might break and run into your lovely aoe, giving cc'ers a hard time. [Korvic:"Yes, accidentally had stuff like Unholy Blight active in the past, but trying to improve"]

Flame Leviathan

Skipping this part for now, as it's only important for the no-repair achievement

Razorscale

None here.

Ignis the Furnace Master

Fire resist helps here.

Molten Colossus

  • [Earthquake] : Tank them 55 yard apart. Healers stand on the outside. The 4s silence seems to be survivable that way, without resorting to difficult LoS strategies.

Magma Rager

The flame engulfed duo packs.

  • [Superheated Winds] : Tank them, one on left wall and other on right wall of the corridor. Raid try to avoid getting hit when it randomly moves around (especially avoiding a potential ping-pong between two of them).

Forge Construct

The other duo pack here.

  • [Flame Emission] : Tank them away from the raid
  • [Charge] : Not really dangerous, but some might want to watch threat, as tank tps is lower till it's back to its side.

XT-002 Deconstructor

Can't really remember the formation of these two packs :(

Parts Recovery Technician

The small robot looking like the new-style repairbot (stunnable/rootable).

  • [Defense Matrix] : Interruptable. Decreases damage on all bots in it by 90%
  • [Mechano Kick] : Known to one-shot dps platewearers. Ideally killed first, but they tend to get bugged and stay halfway the trashpull. Deathgrip them when done with other trash, or move in range.

XB-488 Disposalbot

  • [Cut Scrap Metal] : Uninterruptable afaik
  • [Self Destruct] : Interruptable afaik. Hurts baad. It's survivable, but squishies might want to stay clear of these. Try avoid nuking these till last.

XR-949 Salvagebot

  • [Deploy Salvage Saws] : Spawns a Salvagebot Sawblade, which need to be nuked down by ranged. Ideally killed second

XD-175 Compactobot

These jump to random raidmembers, hurting those in range a bit, but mostly stunning you. Not really dangerous besides that, but make the pull a bit dangerous. Watch your threat.

Kologarn

Nature resist helps. Banish both golems, sheep one mender and one charged dwarf

2 Iron Mender

Not MC'able.

  • [Electro Shock] : Interruptable? Hurts muchos
  • [Fuse Lightning] : Tbh. I haven't payed attention to this. I'm usually tanking anyway, or away from raid ready to pick up cc'ed that breaks.
  • [Fuse Metal] : Interruptable afaik

2 Harderened Iron Golem

2 Lightning Charged Iron Dwarf

  • [Lightning Charged] : I'm not sure wowhead lists it correctly. Afaik, it's stacking a buff making it hurt with lightning more, over time. Either way: Can't have two up and needs to be nuked down hard.

Chamber Overseer

Careful not to pull nearby mobs.

Auriaya

Storm Tempered Keeper

  • [Forked Lightning] : Tank them away from raid.
  • [Summon Charged Sphere] : One tank pulls the cross away from the raid. Other tank taunts the skull, which will be damaged first. When charge comes, the raid switches to it, following it to the cross, killing it before reaching cross. After that nuke cross and repeat.
  • [Separation Anxiety] : Distance between skull/cross can't be too big. Center of second platform is safe (we've had it proc a bit further).
  • [Vengeful Surge] : Don't kill one if the other is still at 10%+, even then it can kill the other tank, but won't cause a wipe and can be taunt-kited the last bit of health (it moves fast though).

Iron Council

Freya

Difficult pack first:

2 Mangrove Ent

Looks like a tree elemental, banishable

2 Ironroot Lasher

Plant elemental, banishable

  • [Ironroot Thorns] : Doesn't sound dangerous, but been known to insta-kill some. Perhaps it stacks
  • [Thorn Swarm] : Needs to be confirmed. I've gotten damage from more than 6 yards away.

2 Nature's Blade

Centaur-like humanoid, sheepable

1 Guardian of Life

Wyrm-like beast, sleepable

The odd duo-patrol:

Misguided Nymph

Nymphy-like, dpsed first

Corrupted Servitor

Plant-golem

The three boss adds, which should be easy, but still wipe us at times:

Elder StoneBark

  • [Drained of Power] : Boss-encounter related.
  • [Fists of Stone] : Tank moves away fast and starts kiting. Debuff is nasty as well, but the real killer is the 250% damage increase. A tank at distance can taunt it, to make the kiting a bit safer. Rest watch threat as it might go taunt-immune.
  • [Ground Tremor] : wowhead says 100 yards, but I thought it was melee range
  • [Petrified Bark] : stop using big hits, small/fast hits is needed to take the charges down (snake trap does wonders there).

Thorim

Hodir

Mimiron

General Vezax

This trash consists of four groups of humanoid Twilight Cultists, and three Faceless Ones. The first group, followed by the first Faceless One, are blocking the way into the Descend into Madness. The rest are arrayed inside the General's room.

Twilight Adherent

  • [Arcane Burst] Instant cast. Deals 9000-11000 arcane damage to enemies within 15 yards, silencing them for 10 seconds.
  • [Blink] 1 second cast. Teleports to an out-of-reach enemy.
  • [Greater Heal] 2 second cast. Heals an ally for 94500-115500.
  • [Psychic Scream] Instant cast. Causes up to 5 enemies within 8 yards to run away in fear for 6 seconds.
  • [Renew] Instant cast. Heals an ally for 180 (has to be more, surely) every 3 seconds for 15 seconds.

Twilight Frost Mage

  • [Arcane Burst] Instant cast. Deals 9000-11000 arcane damage to enemies within 15 yards, silencing them for 10 seconds.
  • [Blink] 1 second cast. Teleports to an out-of-reach enemy.
  • [Frost Bolt Volley] 2 second cast. Deals 3150-3850 frost damage to enemies within 30 yards.
  • [Frost Nova] Instant cast. Deals 5088-5912 frost damage to all enemies within 10 yards, and roots them in place for 8 seconds.
  • [Frostbolt] 2 second cast. Deals 6300-7700 frost damage to a single enemy within 40 yards, and cuts their movement speed in half.

Twilight Pyromancer

  • [Arcane Burst] Instant cast. Deals 9000-11000 arcane damage to enemies within 15 yards, silencing them for 10 seconds.
  • [Blink] 1 second cast. Teleports to an out-of-reach enemy.
  • [Fireball] 2 second cast. Deals 6300-7700 fire damage to a single target within 40 yards.
  • [Flamestrike] 3 second cast. Deals 265-307 fire damage to everyone within 5 yards of the target, and leaves a patch of fire doing 80 fire damage every 2 seconds to anyone caught in it. (Again, damage seems way too low.)
  • [Summon Fire Elemental] Instant cast. Summons a fire elemental pet. (These start out summoned).

Twilight Shadowblade

  • [Backstab] Instant. Inflicts 200% of weapon damage, but only if the attack comes from behind.
  • [Fan of Knives] Instant. Causes 100% weapon damage to all enemies within 10 yards.
  • Also seems to have a shadowstep ability. Flares and invisibility detection won't work.

Twilight Slayer

  • [Bladestorm] Instant. Does 50% weapon damage to all enemies within 8 yards, as well as allowed normal melee swings. Lasts 8 seconds.
  • [Mortal Strike] Instant. Does 250% weapon damage, and reduces the healing done to the target by 50% for 5 seconds.

Twilight Guardian

  • [Concussion Blow] Instant. Does weapon damage, and stuns the target for 3 seconds.
  • [Devastate] Instant. Deals 50% of weapon damage plus 90 for each application of Sunder Armor. Also applies one Sunder.
  • [Thunderclap] Instant. Deals 4250-5750 nature damage to all enemies within 15 yards, as well as slowing their attack speed by 20%.

Faceless Horror

  • Will reflect Death Grip, instead pulling the caster to itself.
  • [Shadow Crash] 1 second cast. Fires a missile at an enemy, dealing 11310-12690 shadow damage upon impact. Can be avoided by moving.
  • [Void Wave] Instant cast. Burns the mana of nearby enemies every 5 seconds.
  • [Void Barrier] Instant cast. Makes the caster immune to all damage. Also summons a Void Beast.

Void Beast

  • [Shadow Nova] Instant cast. Deals 6938-8062 shadow damage to enemies within 15 yards, and knocks them back 15 yards.

The clear

  • The first pack consists of 1 Adherent (Sapped), 2 Slayers (Sheeped), 2 Guardians (One sap, one offtanked) and 2 Shadowblades (Primary and secondary kill targets). If the Shadowblades are the last to die, their Shadowstep ability might reset the pack.
  • After this pack there is a Faceless Horror.
  • The second and third packs consists of 2 Adherents (Sapped), 2 Frost Mages (Sheeped), 2 Guardians (Secondary and tertiary kill targets), 2 Pyromancers (One as the primary kill target, one is trapped), and 2 Fire Elementals (Banished). Note that after the second of these groups die, the first of the two Faceless Horrors flanking the General will walk towards the raid slowly, allowing it to be pulled without engaging the General.
  • The last pack consists of 2 Adherents (Sapped), 1 Frost Mage (Sheeped), 1 Slayer (Primary kill target), 2 Guardians (Secondary and tertiary kill targets), 2 Pyromancers (One sheeped, one trapped), and 2 Fire Elementals (Banished). After this pack dies, the last Faceless Horror will slowly head towards the raid.
