Lord Marrowgar

Two phases alternating within this fight: Lord Marrowgar gets tanked facing away from the raid against the icy wall in the back of the hall. Lord Marrowgar will [Bone Storm] to 4 random spots dealing damage to everything in his way.

  • Never stand in front of Marrowgar. When standing at the gate, imagine a line about 2/3rd into the hall and don't ever cross this border.
  • Don't spread out to far. [Bone Spike Graveyard] will be cast on players, dps must switch fast and destroy the bone spike.
  • Keep distance to Marrowgar when he does [Bone Storm], but don't run out of healer range.
  • Stay away from [Coldflame], which appear randomly on the ground in both phases.

Tanks:

Maintank, with a second (and third in 25 men) tank staying close to adsorb [Saber Lash] damage.

Healers:

3 healers in 10 men, 7 healers in 25 men.
All but maintank healer switch to raidwide while [Bone Storm].

Extra:

Frost resistance can be used to reduce [Coldflame] damage.

Lady Deathwhisper

In the first phase of this fight we burn Lady Deathwisper's manashield down while adds are spawning. The second phase consist of killing Lady Deathwisper herself

  • Phase 1
    • Adherents are to be killed first. We usually try to have them dead before they cast [Shroud of the Occult].
    • Adds can become Deformed Fanatics which will be kited and have to be killed fast.
  • Phase 2
  • During the whole fight she can casts [Death and Decay]. Move out of its influence.
  • Attention should be paid on decursing the raid.

Tanks:

In 10 men adds spawn alternating on the left and right sides. In 25 men we need 3 tanks because we also get adds from behind.
In phase 2, tanks rotate at 5 stacks of [Touch of Insignificance].

Healers:

2 healers in 10 men, 6 healers in 25 men.

Kiting:

Deformed Fanatics should be picked up and kited away from the raid as soon as they spawn.

Extra:

Heroism should be triggered once her manashield is down. In certain cases the raidleader might call a bit earlier to prevent a next wave of adds.

Gunship Battle

The Gunship Battle is an aerial battle between the gunships Skybreaker and Orgrim's Hammer around the spire of Icecrown Citadel.

  • Our guns should be manned at all times unless frozen.
  • People assigned to jump on the enemy ship must equip and test their jump packs before the event is started.
  • The adds that board our ship should be killed fast since they grow stronger the longer they stay alive.
  • [Rocket Artillery] will be launched at us, move out of the target markers.

Tanks:

One tank jumping on the enemy ship and keeping High Overlord Saurfang busy.
An other tank for the adds on our ship, can also be 2 tanks in 25 men.

Healers:

For safety reasons its recommended to have one healer ready to jump in case Saurfang won't follow the tank to the edge of the ship.
3 healers in 10 men, 7 healers in 25 men.

Deathbringer Saurfang

Simple dps race against Deathbringer Saurfang gaining to much Blood Power.

  • All ranged should spread at least 12 yards to avoid damaging others with [Blood Nova].
  • Melee avoid using any AoE abilities when Blood Beasts are about to spawn.
  • Ranged AoE does 90% reduced damage against Blood Beasts. Assigned ranged dps should kill them fast.
  • Melee attacks from Blood Beasts shall be avoided at all times, it adds to Saurfang's [Blood Power].
  • Blood Beasts can be slowed, rooted, knocked back, etc.

Tanks:

Two tanks rotating when they gain [Rune of Blood]. Same in either 10 or 25 men.

Healers:

1 to 2 healers in 10 men, 5 healers in 25 men.

Extra:

Heroism shall be triggered at 30% health, since Saurfang enrages at that point.

Festergut

Festergut, one of Professor Putricide's creation is mainly a dps race with spores protecting us from deadly gases he releases.

  • Placement of [Gas Spore] is crucial, we have a detailed strategy page covering it.
  • Ranged should spread at least 7 yards from each others, not to harm others with [Vile Gas].
  • When a spore is up, ranged collapse on the designated spot. 3 stacks of [Gas Spore] is needed to survive [Pungent Blight].
  • Healers stand on tanks.

Tanks:

Two tanks rotating when they get 9 stacks of [Gastric Bloat].
Save protective cooldowns, those are needed when Festergut reaches 3 stacks of [Inhale Blight].

Healers:

3 healers in 10 men, 6 healers in 25 men.

Extra:

We usually trigger Heroism when Fester reaches 3 stacks of [Inhale Blight] for the first time.

Rotface

Rotface is mostly a survival fight. Since more and more Little Oozes will spawn over time it does require certain dps output too.

  • Whole raid should spread tight around Rotface, maybe 4 to 6 yards distance.
  • Only after [Unstable Ooze Explosion], people should run away from the center of the hall.
  • When getting [Mutated Infection] start moving towards the kite path. Once dispelled make sure your Little Ooze does merge.
  • Rotface regularly casts [Slime Spray], move behind him to avoid damage.
  • Don't stand in the green goo.

Tanks:

One tank in 10 and 25 men.

Healers:

3 healers in 10 men, 6 healers in 25 men.

Kiting:

Always keep the Big Ooze at least 10 yards away from yourself and the raid.
The Ooze Flood slows your run speed so paladin Blessing of Freedom or Priests Speed Shield help you to survive.

Extra:

Heroism to be triggered once sunders and dps rotations are up, within 30 seconds into fight.

Professor Putricide

This fight consists of three phases. At first he will regularly cast Unstable Experiment which will spawn adds. At 80% health he will stun the whole raid. Once it wears off phase 2 starts with him also using Choking Gas Bomb. No more adds spawn in phase 3 and a dps race starts against debuffs and the room filling up with green goo.

  • Volatile Ooze (green) always spawns first, raid starts on orange side close to the table.
  • Raid moves in a circular motion to always have largest distance to the add that is going to spawn.
  • Volatile Ooze (green), players should collapse on target. Gas Cloud (orange) should be kited.
  • Share the damage in case an add reaches its target alive. Melee should not move towards adds before it picked a target.
  • He will throw [Choking Gas]. Move away, the bottles are harmful and will do [Choking Gas Explosion].
  • Move away when targeted by [Malleable Goo], also move away from the vicinity of the targeted player.
  • Once phase 3 starts raid should stay close together, use the available space well.
  • Never stand in green goo.

Tanks:

2 tanks in 10 men, 3 tanks in 25 men. Tanks rotating on 3 and 4 stacks of [Mutated Plague] in phase 3.
One tank runs up to the table and drinks a potion. Eat the green goo and use [Regurgitated Ooze] on adds right when they spawn.
Abomination tank can add decent damage with [Mutated Slash] on adds and professor.

Healers:

Never cleanse the abomination tank.
2 or 3 healers in 10 men, 7 healers in 25 men.

DPS:

Since phases switch at 80% and 35% health it makes sense to pay attention and kill adds before triggering it.

Extra:

Heroism is best triggered upon entering phase 3.

One ranged tank, Deathknight or Warlock tank Keleseth. Need to collect Dark Nuclei to survive [Empowered Shadow Lance].
