Physical Appearance
- Relatively heavily-built and often seen with ribbons and other decorations in her hair and on her ears.
- Lienra normally looks quite serious, but it doesn't take a lot to reveal her slightly silly nature.
[edit]
Personality
- Lienra is typically laid-back and enjoys her leisure time. Centuries spent guarding settlements in northern Kalimdor, and the recent return to mortality has left her wanting to get the most out of life.
- She spends much of her time fighting, fishing or battling to keep her home in Ironforge tidy. She can be serious, and in some cases deadly serious, but is mostly light-hearted and prone to silly distractions. This trait can be seen in the names she choses for her pets and mounts. Her netherdrake companion reluctantly answers to the name "Pointy", while her talbuk seems indifferent to being named "Bitey".

Background
[edit]
The family business
- The life of a baker isn't the most exciting one, but it's a good start in life. Her family had been bakers in Ashenvale for many generations. People joked that the smoke from their ovens is how the family name of Darksky came to be.
- Lienra wasn't much of a baker, but she found a role in the delivery of bread. Walking for many hours, she would traverse Northern Kalimdor to deliver bread to the towns and remote settlements.
- It was during a delivery that she chanced upon a commotion. A druid was being cruelly assailed by furbolgs who had travelled south from the corrupted Felwood. Dropping her load, she fetched up a branch and charged in to the fubolgs, swinging the branch wildly. Probably through luck rather than skill, the furbolgs were surprised enough to flee leaving the druid to compose himself and gather his scattered possessions. Thanking her for her assistance, he returned to his travels, carrying with him a complementary loaf of bread.

An invitation
- Some weeks after the incident with the druid, a messenger arrived at the Darksky home. Lienra was summoned to meet minor sentinel officer, Alwor Shadestep in Astranaar. On arrival, she found that the druid had spoken with the officer and told her of the fight. Alwor extended an invitation for Lienra to train in order to become a Sentinel. Having always felt somewhat bored with the routine of escorting bread, she accepted.

Sleeping on her feet
- The life of a Sentinel wasn't quite as exciting as she imagined it would be. Although recognised as a skilled and capable fighter and scout, she did not deal easily with long periods of inactivity. Although she never deserted her post, she was noted as having an extraordinary ability to fall asleep while standing.
- Lienra was moved between various postings, but still the same problem remained. When the Burning Legion came, she was denied an opportunity to join the attack. Instead she was chosen to assist in the evacuation of priests to Auberdine. Her superiors noted her frustration, and chose to place her on extended leave.
- She left kaldorei lands and began her journeys. Not feeling comfortable in the human city, she travelled north to mighty Ironforge, where she felt strangely at home in the strong warrior culture of the dwarfs. Her minor interest in smithing blossomed on seeing how skilled the dwarfs were in working metal. As well as smithing, she was introduced to stout, which she swears is actually good for you if drunk in sensible measures.
[edit]
The Present
- She currently shares a home in Ironforge with a Draenei mage and his adopted kaldorei daughter. Most of her time is spent traveling, fishing or engaging in debates at Bruuk's. Baking is a hobby for her, although the results can be quite strange. By mixing mana berries, she's invented types of bread that are somehow straddling the gap between animate and inanimate. The creations are normally quite tasty though, if you don't mind bread that wobbles or moves across your plate.
- She occasionally undertakes missions for the Sentinels, but she's strangely unwilling to discuss the nature of these tasks. Although on extended leave, she remains staunchly loyal to the Sentinels and their goal of safeguarding kaldorei lands.
