Personality

This might seem the typical story of a human child left to fend for himself at a young age. Walking the streets of Lordaeron, running errands for the different merchants, sometimes employed by the more shadowy personalities for different deeds of questionable standards, most of them end up like they grow up, rogues. Being alone and working alone. But not this one. Not this little thief. He knew the story well. Some guy with a goatee and a scar along his face would take him under his wing and have him steal stuff. He didn't want that, he wanted to challenge fate and the typical story.

A shipment of expensive wine being stolen for profit? He'd be there, removing the competition and drinking all the wine, with no intent of selling it. Some lavishly elegant and refined piece of jewelry being wisped away from some nobleman's chest? He'd find out when and where the culprits would exchange it for gold, take the jewel to win over some courtesan's heart and use the gold to satisfy her every whim. Sometimes he would return whatever was stolen in exchange for gratitude, keeping some rich fat courtman in his debt which to call on later. Whatever the deed, he'd always keep his flair about him, striking with finesse and taking a low bow, kindly thanking everyone for the wonderful opportunity and the spoils.

This particular rogue has a cheerful attitude and usually makes fun of most things. To him a fierce battle would be a fun game, playing cat-and-mouse tricks with the enemy. "Let's play a little game" he says, "I call it.. spinal surgery." And with a wide grin he'd cut his opponent down and casually cheer "I win!". Some may call him a reckless impetuous irresponsible swashbuckler, others may see heart in Jadenn's ways, but the only truth is he just wants to challenge the typical rogue story and has fun doing it.

Before Ebon Flame

Jadenn held the rank of Officer in the Azeroth Elders for a short while but beyond that not much is known. He is surprisingly reluctant to share his past and never uses the phrase "I remember when..." out of Flame context. It may be his shady profession or just staying out of attention's way that keeps people from asking anything beyond preference of tea.

Knight of the Flame

Not long before the first incursions into Gruul's Lair, Jadenn quickly rose in rank and found a liking to the thrill of the battle. As the Flame moved on to bigger challenges, he was there, with the guidance of Chess Chutzpah, to deliver whole new tiers of hurt to those that would oppose the Ebon Legacy. Only Kael'thas Sunstrider resisted slightly, but his demise quickly followed. From then on, nothing stood in his way. His thrill for battle became a bloodlust, and his relationship with his melee teammates strengthened, frequently turning into friendly and bloody competitions of who'd inflict the most pain and who would get the killing blow.

With Illidan Stormrage's defeat the Ebon Legacy came to an end and Jadenn turned to training for the future battles.

The Gladiator

While battling the demons and fiends of Outland was indeed a full-time job, there were still times of pause and preparation. For others of the Flame maybe. Jadenn preferred to spend his free time in the Arena, besting both Horde and Alliance for sport, afraid maybe of losing his edge. His time there was not completely successful though. His team would overcome one challenge only to be defeated in the next, then rise up again and repeat the cycle. Only one winning streak is memorable, but his other teams were more established and are of course worth mentioning.

  • Stepping into the Arena

The first battles were quite successful, but at the time there were not many opponents to cause problems. Joining him in the first arena battles were Chess, Enerdhil and Jahala.

  • Takes two for class

The winning streak mentioned earlier was indeed memorable. Teaming up with Telenna, the two rogues cut down everything in their path. Nothing would stand in their way. Unfortunately, this team disbanded after only twelve games.

  • No more messing about

Seeing opponents gain both cunning and better weapons, Jadenn quickly decided to take to training and become a professional gladiator instead of being left insignificant like the dust of the Orgrimmar Arena. With the help of some of the more notable members of the Flame - the mage Lokara, then Dorgan and Kheldur - Jadenn gained a new understanding of the Arenas and her opponents. This training continued between the fights of his next team.

  • The Challenger

Joined by Kinta, the Flame's War Commander and backed up by Ravincal's healing, Jadenn's last team had mixed results. Some matches would be fairly short and simple while others would last for what seemed like hours. By this time their opponents were more acquainted with the different strategies and most were already professionals. Of his three teams, the last one was the most successful and Jadenn went home with the title of Challenger.
