Gluth Strategy:

Thalos notes:

1. Death grip (DK ability) works well on the adds and can be used to yank them away from the boss if the kiters let one slip through. Druid typhoon ability (boomkin) would likely also work.

2. Death knight and warrior tanks are ideal for the twin tanking operation as they both have cooldowns which can be applied against the quite variable incoming damage.

3. Combination of tankadin aoe aggro and frost mage kiting is the best way to control adds. Whole raid must pitch in if things get out of hand (e.g. hunter traps, earthbind totems).

Perlin's addition to point 3:

Important abilities to focus on using for the paladin are:

- Avenger's Shield, Consecrate and any other ranged dmg spell for aggro

- Bubble to remove any stack of the debuff during a decimate

- Holy Wrath for the AoE stun.

The Mage needs to focus on:

- Ice lance/fireblast/arcane barrage for aggro (if specced for it, Living Bomb's explosion creates a lot of threat on many mobs too)

- Cone of Cold for slowing

- Frost Nova for shackling

- Ice Block to remove the debuff stack

- Blink to avoid or remove any dazed debuff from being attacked from behind

TIPS FOR MAGES!

- The best spec for this job is Frost (either frostbolt or FFB), because of more slowing, extra Ice Blocks, larger Frost Nova and Ice Barrier. But any spec can do it with practice.

- If the kited mobs need slowing fast, 1 tick of blizzard (if specced for it) works good. Just remember this is mana intensive

- NEVER use Mirror Image while kiting. The mobs will totally ignore your images and go for the healers instead.
