Uncle

Ergen "Uncle" Boyd, the human quartermaster. A huge muscular sergeant in charge of facility management. He's aways in the background but makes sure the kitchen and great hall are spotless clean and the storerooms are always full. Although he is a man of few words, if he speaks, people listen. Hardly noone knows his real name as everyone refers to him as Uncle.

Background

Uncle has a long history in battle but never managed to work himself up higher than the rank of sergeant. He was stationed for years in Lights Hope Chapel and served as a sergeant of a small taskforce until a gruesome event during one of their missions forced Uncle to abandon his team and return to the Chapel as the only survivor. Unable to cope with the failure he lay down his hammer and vowed to never wield a weapon again. His request to become the new quartermaster in Lights Hope chapel was gratefully answered in the light of his long and outstanding service of the Argent Dawn.

After the battle of Lights hope chapel and the forming of the Argent Crusade Uncle was asked by no less then Tirion Fordragon to help set up a base camp now known as Crusaders Pinnacle. No man could have been better for the job but it was never meant to be a day-time job. After months of work, one day Uncle realized his job was done and he returned to Stormwind to be able to spend more time with his only daughter Lucy. Stories started spreading about the silent giant visiting the Inns and it was one of these rumours that reached Enerdhil and made him have a talk with this illustrious quartermaster.
